Fellow Canadian glial researchers,

The CANGlia steering committee goals are to solidify the CANGlia association with formal membership that will allow us to enhance communication and to grow our yearly meetings. Our first two meetings were generously supported by our donors; however, this limits our capability to grow and plan future meetings in advance. As we grow, membership will allow us to enable a voting body that will give our members a voice in choosing future committee members, program direction for our meetings and to invest in student prizes and travel awards for future meetings. In addition to voting rights, membership will include access to trainee webinars and, of course, a discounted rate for our yearly meeting. We have based our costs on the feedback provided in the survey following our 2025 meeting. We hope that you will become members of CANGlia and help us to grow this organization.

We thank you kindly for your support,
